Tim Brown é CEO e presidente da IDEO. Frequentemente fala sobre o valor do Design Thinking e inovação para empresários e designers de todo o mundo. Participou do Fórum Econômico Mundial, em Davos, na Suíça, e suas conversas Serious Play and Change by Design aparecem no TED.com.

É designer industrial por formação, Tim ganhou inúmeros prêmios de design e já expôs trabalhos na Galeria Axis em Tóquio, no Museu do Design em Londres, e no Museu de Arte Moderna de Nova York. Ele tem especial interesse na convergência de tecnologia e as artes, bem como as formas em que o design pode ser usado para promover o bem-estar das pessoas que vivem nas economias emergentes.

Ele é membro do conselho de curadores da IDEO.org e atua no Mayo Clinic Innovation Advisory Council and the Advisory Council of Acumen, um empreendimento global sem fins lucrativos focada em melhorar a vida dos pobres. Além disso e escreve para a Harvard Business Review, The Economist, além de outras publicações proeminentes.
